Hardware NMSO/DISO Listings

Nova Networks is proud to supply and deploy hardware, software and configuration services nationwide to our Federal Government, Agency and Crown Corporation clients via the National Master Standing Offer (NMSO).

The NMSO is designed to allow Federal Government Agencies and Crown Corporations to buy equipment easily and cost effectively. All Federal Government Agencies and Crown Corporations qualify for NMSO status/pricing.

A Standing Offer is not a binding contract but it is an offer from a potential supplier to provide goods and/or services at pre-arranged prices, under set terms and conditions. No contract exists until the government issues an order or "call-up" against the Standing Offer.

Standing Offers are usually considered when:

• One or more departments repeatedly order the same goods or services, but the actual demand is not known in advance; or
• A need is anticipated for a range of goods or services for a specific purpose, but the actual demand is not known at the outset and delivery is to be made when a requirement arises.

The Standing Offer is a convenient method of supply that saves time and money. Call-ups against a Standing Offer have a faster processing time and reduced paper work because prices and terms have been settled in advance and there is no need for further negotiation. From the taxpayers' point of view, the advantages are lower administrative costs and less need for government departments to carry inventory.
